About Venus

Venus is the second planet from the Sun and the hottest planet in our solar system. It is a rocky planet with a thick atmosphere made mostly of carbon dioxide and clouds of sulfuric acid. Venus rotates very slowly in the opposite direction of most planets, taking about 243 Earth days to spin once and about 225 Earth days to orbit the Sun.
